Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai announced major usage gains for the company’s AI products during its Q2 2025 results. AI Overviews in Search has grown to 2 billion monthly users globally, up from 1.5 billion in May.
The Gemini app has hit 450 million monthly active users, with daily requests climbing over 50% from Q1 levels.
Google’s AI infrastructure now handles 980 trillion tokens each month, doubling its May throughput.
Pichai said the results highlight how quickly consumers are adopting AI across Google’s services.
