At its latest keynote, Apple launched the iPhone Air, a 5.6mm-thick device positioned as the company’s slimmest smartphone yet. CEO Tim Cook called it the “biggest leap ever for iPhone,” marking the first new model since 2017. Starting at $999, it fits between the iPhone 17 and the Pro line.
Equipped with the A19 Pro processor and N1 wireless chip, the new devices support Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, and Thread. Pro models adopt vapor chamber cooling, while all versions feature the Liquid Glass build paired with iOS 26.
Other highlights included the Watch Series 11 with hypertension monitoring, the Ultra 3 with satellite connectivity, and the AirPods Pro 3 priced at $249, which include heart-rate tracking, expanded fitness support, improved noise cancellation, and live translation.
Apple Intelligence gained incremental features, with analysts projecting meaningful AI progress by 2027.
